Geothermal Systems

Geothermal systems use energy stored in the earth to provide heating, cooling and hot water.  In the winter, heat is absorbed from the ground and carried into the home. In the summer, the process is reversed, taking heat from the home and dissipating it back to into the ground. The heat is also used to generate hot water.

Geothermal systems provide both economic and environmental advantages.  These systems can reduce both your heating and cooling expenses by up to 40% and at the same time geothermal installation are eliminating more the 5.8 metric tons of CO2 annually.

Geothermal systems provide many benefits

  • Efficiency:
Geothermal systems are generally more efficient than fossil fuel furnaces
  • Costs:
The operating costs for heating, cooling, and hot water are generally lower with geothermal systems.
  • Environmentally friendly:
Geothermal systems do not burn fossil fuels. There are no pilot lights and no concerns of carbon monoxide.
